Recently, there has been an increasing number of multifunctional products with sun protection in the cosmetics market. The types of face powder sold on the market also have a trend of providing UV protection. If the face powder, the last step of makeup, has a UV blocking function, you can expect makeup with a perfect UV blocking function.


Today's news would like to introduce sun protect loose powder using composite powder produced by LUXON.


By combining SILICA and CHEMICAL SUNSCREEN, which have a silky skin feel and good spreadability, we aimed to spread organic substances evenly and reduce irritation of organic substances to the skin.


These products are in the form of powder, and through the combining process, they are reborn as spherical sun-functional powders that have the advantages of the two ingredients simultaneously. (Detailed manufacturing methods are not disclosed here.)



For those who are curious about the sunscreen effect of these products, we prepared a loose powder formula using these three products and compared the in-vitro index of LUXON's and P's Sunscreen loose powder commercially available on the market.



To explain the commercially available product, it is sunprotect loose powder from company P. The marked index is SPF 40, PA+++, and it is a product that uses chemical UV filters and mineral sunscreen mixtures.


Sun loose powder made by our prescription showed a higher sun protection index.



More tests are needed in the future, but this powder experiment shows that SILICA + CHEMICAL SUNSCREEN products have excellent sun protection.
