Only using ZnO completely blocks UVA and UVB

Most people think of ZnO as a basic material that simply filters UVA and boosts PA levels, but it actually possesses excellent UVA and UVB blocking potential.

UV A/B protection test results for LX-HPA 30 and LX-HPA 150 

LUXON's in-vitro test findings show that HPA 30, HPA 150 both provide excellent UVA and UVB protection. Strong UVB protection results are especially significant in HPA 30 and HPA 150 in UVA

To demonstrate this once more, we made a sunscreen with two particle sizes of ZnO. Sun protection rates were aiming for SPF50+ and PA++++. The prescription information is displayed in the table below.

We formulated sunscreen proto type sample according to the directions above and compared the white cast and in-vitro index to D company's "ZnO mineral sun formula" product that is now on the market. We aimed for a UV protection factor of 50+ / PA++++.

According to the results image above, our proto type sample and D company's product have a similar white cast level.

However, In-Vitro results showed that our proto type has higher UV protection rate than D company’s product. It demonstrated greater blocking strength than expected after being created by combining two distinct sizes of ZnO.
